DTLab has two courses:

  1. Digital Credentials 101: Fundamentals 
  2. Digital Credentials 102: Introduction to Implementation 

These courses are designed to cater to varying levels of expertise and interest in digital credentials. They can be pursued individually or combined for a comprehensive learning experience, providing foundational knowledge and implementation insights into the digital credentials domain.

From executives who need high-level knowledge, to lead implementers who must stay up-to-date with the latest best practices, these courses aim to level-set the understanding and to expedite participants’ learning trajectory for digital identity and digital credentials.

Digital Credentials 101 – Fundamentals

  • Delve into governance, identity ecosystems, and frameworks, highlighting their role in creating strong and trusted digital credential systems.
  • Cover the technical building blocks and standards essential for developing digital identity solutions, aiming to foster interoperability and trust within the ecosystem.

Who should take these courses?

  • Digital Credentials 101 – Organizations, smaller teams or individuals looking for a high-level introduction to digital credentials should start with 101. 
    • Private training sessions are available for teams.

 

  • Digital Credentials 102 – Organizations, smaller teams or individuals that have preexisting knowledge of  digital credentials and are looking to deepen their knowledge of implementation practices can jump straight to 102. 
    • Private training sessions are available for teams. 
    • Please note, we require participants to complete a screening questionnaire to ensure this jump is right for you.

 

  • Full Package – Teams of up to 15 can purchase a package combining both Digital Credentials  101 and 102. When teams purchase these courses together, they receive additional content in units 3, 4 & 5. Furthermore, an in-depth version of Next Steps is covered in Digital Credentials 102 – Unit 6.

    • The roles of the public, private and non-profit sectors in the digital credential ecosystem
    • The importance of good digital identity and credentials (ethics and principles)

    • Recognize appropriate scenarios for levels of assurance application.
